Langtang-Gasainkunda Pass Trek. We start the trip with the drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. Driving time is about 6/7 hours in the snaky road. Langtang Ganja Pass trek begins from Syabrubesi, via the Kyanjin Gompa crosses the mighty Ganja La pass (5,122m), and ends at the Melamchi Pul Bazar in the Helambu region. Toward the end of the trip, you will also trek through some beautiful rice terraces and several splendid Buddhist monasteries around the delightful villages of Tarke Gyang and Sermathang before heading back to Kathmandu by drive.
Autumn (September, October, and November)
Autumn is the best time of year for the Ganja La Pass Trek in Langtang Region, due to the moderate temperatures and more consistent weather. You may also take advantage of the pleasant, dry weather at this time to enjoy your hikes in the Langtang region. The trails are in excellent shape as well. They are no longer slick and dirty. This time of year, the mountain peaks may be seen with astonishing clarity under the brilliant blue skies from Ganja La Pass.
Spring (March, April, and May)
Spring is another optimal season for Langtang Valley Ganja La Pass Trek in Nepal. You can enjoy the blooms of the local flora in the Langtang National Park in the spring season. You get views of entire sections of forest covered in pink, red, and yellow blooms of rhododendrons. You can enjoy your walk along the park with the scents of pine and maple.
