Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m)

Day 04: Drive Ilam – Taplejung (1,820 m)

Begin trekking through cultivated land, cardamom farms, and Limbu villages. Descend to Tamor River and reach Mitlung. First taste of rural mountain life.

Day 06: Mitlung – Chirwa (1,270 m) Trek: 5–6 hrs

Walk along the Tamor River with suspension bridges and subtropical forests. Enter Kanchenjunga Conservation Area. Overnight in Chirwa village.
