Churen West(7371m), Churen Central(7375m), and Churen North(7371m).The trail of the Churen Himal Trek is full of rivers and fast glacial streams. Best Time To Trek Churen Himal Base Camp.

The best time to trek to Churen Himal Base Camp is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) seasons.

Spring (March to May)

Churen Himal Base Camp Trek Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu Airport

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu airport, Plan A Trek and Expedition representative will welcome you and transfer you to the Hotel.

Day 02: Drive to Beni (850m)

After the early breakfast, we will enjoy the scenic drive from Kathmandu to Beni. Beni is a small bustling town located at the confluence of Kali Gandaki River and Myagdi Khola.

Day 03: Trek from Beni to Babichor (950m)

We will start our Churen Himal Base Camp Trek from Beni. Leaving Beni behind, we will head towards Babichor, where we will spend the whole night.

Day 04: Trek from Babichor to Dharapani (1750m)

Passing through the terraced hills and rivers along both sides, we will continue our trek to Dharapani.

Day 05: Trek from Dharapani to Lumsung (1800m)

Today, the trail passes through the terraced farmland and traditional villages of Takam and Sibang. Then, we will cross the Dhar Khola river and stop at Lumsung for an overnight stay.

Day 06: Trek from Lumsang to Gurjaghat (2800m)

We will head towards Gurjaghat from Lumsang crossing the Pass. The climb is quite steep. However, walking through the Oak and Rhododendron forest, you will observe the marvelous view of Gurja Himal. Gujarat is located near the Dhorpatan.

Day 07: Trek from Gurjaghat to Rupachaur Kharka (3400m)

After breakfast, we will move towards Rupachaur Kharka, where we can savor the spectacular beauty of majestic mountains, emerald hills, rivers, and valleys. Finally, we will pass through the beautiful forest(Royal Reserve of Hunting) inhabited by Himalayan bears, Castors, Theresa, etc.

Day 08: Trek from Rupachaur Kharka to Gurjagaon (2700m)

On this day, we will descend to Gurjagaon village. Gurjagaon is the large Magar village situated at the foot of Gurja Himal.

Day 09: Trek from Gurjagaon to Darsinge Kharka (2945m)

From Gurjagaon today, we will continue our trek to reach Darsinge Kharka.

Day 10: Trek from Darsinge Kharka to Bundzunge Kharka (4090m)

Enjoying the early breakfast, we will head to Bundzunge Kharka from Darsinge Kharka.

Day 11: Trek from Bundzunge Kharka to Churen Himal Base Camp (4160m)

On this day, we will trek from Bundzunge Kharka to Churen Himal Base Camp, located at an elevation of 4160m. The Base Camp offers stunning views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt Annapurna, and Mt Churen. While trekking, you may witness the herds of blue goats. If you are lucky enough, you may also see the Snow leopard.

Day 12: Trek from Churen Himal Base Camp to Gurjagaon (2700m)

Retracing the route of Bundzundge Bara, we will descend our trek to the village of Gurjagaon.

Day 13: Trek from Gurjagaon to Lumsang

Exploring the Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve and then crossing the Jaljala Pass, we will reach Lumsang. We will stay overnight at Lumsang.

Day 14: Trek from Lumsang to Khibang

Today, the trail takes us to the charming Magar village, which is on the southern slope of Dhaulagiri(8167m). The heartwarming hospitality of the innocent Magar people adds more pleasure and excitement to our journey.

Day 15: Trek from Khibang to Marang

Trekking through the beautiful forest of rhododendrons and Magar villages, we will head to Marang from Khibang. On the way, we will observe the alluring views of the Dhauligiri ranges.

Day 16: Trek from Marang to Pakhapani

We will trek through the cultivated farmland and magnificent forest that lead us to the village of Pakhapani.

Day 17: Trek from Pakhapani to Beni

We will descend towards the Rahughat Khola after trekking through the beautiful rhododendron forest. We will spend the overnight at Beni.

Day 18: Drive from Beni to Pokhara

Taking the early breakfast, we will return to the tranquil city of Pokhara. We will spend some quality time here in Pokhara.

Day 19: Drive Back to Kathmandu

Today we will take a long drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu. If you want to avoid the long drive, you can take a scenic flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu.

Day 20: Final Departure towards your next destination
